t.mills

Travis Tatum Mills   (born April 12, 1989), better known by his stage-name T. Mills, is an American pop artist based in Riverside, California. Travis began his career writing music in his bedroom using software such as Pro ToolsLogic and Reason to create backing tracks for his songs. Mills quickly gained attention self-releasing music online, leading to a spot on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour performing on the Babycakes stage.[1] After several notable live performances, T. Mills was signed to the Laguna Beach label Uprising Records, who released the Finders Keepers EP on July 14, 2009 and his debut album Ready, Fire, Aim! on September 28, 2010.[2] Preceding the release of the album, the video for the lead single "Stupid Boy", which was produced by Khris Lorenz, premiered on MySpace on July 13, 2010. Mills' second album,Leaving Home, was released July, 22, 2011. The album was released for free under Columbia Records.[3]

"We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to manifest the glory that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

As he begins to speak about some of his influences, T. Mills also says that he is no rapper, but instead considers himself an artist. For those that don’t already know, his music is a blend of hip-hop and pop (hip-pop), making just the catchy blend. He shows us some of his favorite tattoos, one of which is the word “Patience” tattooed across his knuckles, claiming he has none. That makes two of us Mr. Mills!

However, speaking of patience, the wait is no more. You can now download his latest EP,“Leaving Home”,via all digital retailers.Fans who purchase the EP from the T. Mills official website, www.tmillsmusic.com,will also receive additional songs with their download.

best friends forever

Forever Friends
Sometimes in life,
you find a special friend;
Someone who changes your life
just by being part of it.
Someone who makes you laugh
until you can't stop;
Someone who makes you believe
that there really is good in the world.
Someone who convinces you
that there really is an unlocked door
just waiting for you to open it.
This is Forever Friendship.
When you're down,
and the world seems dark and empty,
Your forever friend lifts you up in spirit
and makes that dark and empty world
suddenly seem bright and full.
Your forever friend gets you through
the hard times, the sad times,
and the confused times.
Your forever friend holds your hand
and tells you that
everything is going to be okay.
And if you find such a friend,
you feel happy and complete,
because you need not worry.
You have a forever friend for life,
and forever has no end.
Good Friends
Make Life
So Much Better

Quote tattoo's

After writing over two dozen hubs on tattoo ideas that showcased pictures as the majority of the content, I started noticing that a large portion of the comments were from people asking for ideas on what to say, not so much on how to say it. Like Lindsay, for example, who commented on the hubTattoo Ideas: Words & Phrases and said: "I want some sort of latin script with a phrase having to do with karma." Or Jesso, who said:  "I have a colourful fish on my left lower back, but next I want a script.. .. just what I don't know... something positive to remind me every day is mine, I am in control of my destiny."

The tricky thing about quote tattoos is that nine times out of ten they can't be too long. Unless you have a huge expanse of skin that you plan on dedicating to the tat, like a forearm or your entire back, you're going to need to pick a quote that's short enough to fit in a small area. A few years ago my girlfriend wanted to get something I had written tattooed on her in my handwriting. The quote she wanted was twenty-one words long, and she wanted it somewhere on her inner forearms. As she is already fairly heavily tattooed, there was no criteria such as having to get it on a place that could be easily hidden if need be. She's lucky. She ended up getting it running lengthwise down her arm next to the word GIRL that was already there. Most people don't have the same flexibility as her. Maybe your job is too professional for tattoos and piercings, or you don't want your mother to see it. If that's the case, then a quote tattoo can be challenging to find space for.  And if you think you're going to fit an entire poem (unless it's a haiku) on your wrist by shrinking down the letters to a size 5 font, you're mistaken. Good tattoo artists will only let you make the lettering so small, because they know that tattoos blend, fade and bleed over time. The smaller the font, the better the chance that you'll be left with a meaningless blob ten years down the road.  So although there are millions of wonderful quotes about the beauty of love, I've tried to only assemble the ones that are on the shorter side, while still being meaningful.

We do not remember the days, we remember the moments. -Pavese

Personal Quotes
"I thought she'd offer me some sympathy. Instead, she said, 'Don't you ever call me crying again! You wanted to be in this business, so you better toughen up!' And I did." - to Redbook magazine August 1999, on the lesson in tough love she got from her mother.
You laugh it off, you get upset for a little while, you're human and you let it go. - on the "outrageous" tabloid stories she hears about herself, at a press conference to discuss her movie, The Cell (2000) in August 2000.
"This film certainly is not meant for the girls who sing along with my songs" (about The Cell (2000))
I was always a singer and a dancer, and I always wanted to be an actress. For me, it's all just one thing.
"Nail Polish" (upon being asked what she got on her SAT's)
When I'm not prepared, which is almost never. -when asked if she ever feels insecure.
I don't really check out other people's butts.
I'm not mad about my ankles - they're too skinny.
We've all had a love of our life and failed love affairs. I'm just the biggest romantic - it's really sad. I tell people that, but nobody listens.
I've always had a huge fear of dying or becoming ill. The thing I'm most afraid of, though, is being alone, which I think a lot of performers fear. It's why we seek the limelight - so we're not alone, were adored. Were loved, so people want to be around us. The fear of being alone drives my life.
In every movie they want you to look as thin as you can look. In Selena, it was the other way around: "How can we shoot her butt so it looks like Selena's?"
I only do what my gut tells me to. I think it's smart to listen to other people's advice, but at the end of the day, you're the only one who can tell you what's right for you.
If you focus on the money, you're not going to get anywhere. You can want to be successful, but at the end of the day, if money is your motivation, if that's how shallow your outlook is on life, then you're going to be such an empty person. Because there's nothing driving you from the inside -- there's no passion...

This is me..

Peace, Love, Hope & Dreams

Bob Marley's life

On Feb. 6, 1945, Robert Nesta Marley was born in Jamaica in Nine Miles within the Parish of St.Ann. His mother was an 18 year old Jamaican woman, Cedella Booker. Bob's father was a 50 year old English captain, Norval Sinclair Marley, who was stationed in Jamaica. Bob spent his early years with his mother in St. Ann, then during his teens they moved to Kingston, the capitol of Jamaica. Settling in Trench Town, a shanty town with in Kingston, Bob experienced a childhood filled with poverty and violence. After attending the Stepney School in Kingston, Bob spent some time aquiring a trade as a welder. During his youth, Bob developed a love for singing early on through his involvement in the church choir and the encouragement from friend Desmond Dekker.

"One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain"  -Bob Marley
"Live for yourself,
You will live in vain.
Live for others,
You will live again." -Bob Marley

"Emancipate yourself
From mental slavery.
No one but Ourselves
Can free our mind." -Bob Marley

On Monday, May 11, 1981 Bob Marley died at the age of 36. At first Bob went to the hostpital for an injury left un-attended to his toe from a soccer accident, when he was diagnosed with cancer in his liver, lungs, and brain. He spent his last year in several hospitals where news of his health were closely watched by all. Finally, four days after he passed away, the world was given notification that the Rastafarian phrophet had died, and a state funneral was held in his honor.

I Love Bob Marley

What makes you beautiful..

  You're insecure
Don't know what for
You're turning heads when you walk through the door
Don't need make up
To cover up
Being the way that you are is enough

Everyone else in the room can see it
Everyone else but you

[Chorus]
Baby you light up my world like nobody else
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed
But when you smile at the ground it aint hard to tell
You don't know
Oh Oh
You don't know you're beautiful

If only you saw what I can see
You'll understand why I want you so desperately
Right now I'm looking at you and I can't believe
You don't know
Oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful
Oh oh
That what makes you beautiful

So c-come on
You got it wrong
To prove I'm right I put it in a song
I don't know why
You're being shy
And turn away when I look into your eyes

Everyone else in the room can see it
Everyone else but you

[Chorus]
Baby you light up my world like nobody else
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed
But when you smile at the ground it aint hard to tell
You don't know
Oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful

If only you saw what I can see
You'll understand why I want you so desperately
Right now I'm looking at you and I can't believe
You don't know
Oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful
Oh oh
That's what makes you beautiful

Oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful
Oh oh
That's what makes you beautiful..
